FAITHKIDS

“One generation commends Your works to another. They speak of Your mighty acts. They tell of the glorious splendor of Your majesty and I will proclaim Your great deeds.”

Psalm 145:4

At FaithKids, our mission is to glorify God by supporting parents in their God-given role of leading their children to love and follow Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to creating a biblically rich environment where children can grow in their faith and develop a deeper relationship with the Lord.

Our goal is to partner with parents as they train up their children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). Through teaching the timeless truths of God's Word, we pray that every child in FaithKids will submit to the Lord in faith, grow in their knowledge of Scripture, walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and develop Godly character.

As a ministry, we value:
1.Biblical Teaching – Teaching the whole counsel of God to our children.
2.Safety & Security – Providing a nurturing and protected space to learn and grow.
3.Personal Care – Attending to each child's spiritual needs.
4.Engaging Learning – Creating a fun and dynamic environment for learning.
5.Intentional Leadership – Striving for excellence in teaching and leading children.

Alongside our church, FaithKids is passionate about sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and inviting every child to respond in faith. Our desire is to instill a love for God’s Word and to raise lifelong disciples who will honor and glorify Him. By God’s power, the impact of this ministry will extend beyond shaping individual lives to shaping entire families and influencing future generations for His glory.

What We Teach

Infants - Toddlers

For our youngest children, we follow the Truth for Toddlers curriculum. We understand the unique challenges of teaching little ones with short attention spans and limited vocabularies. That’s why these lessons are simple, brief, colorful, and engaging—perfect for capturing young minds. Best of all, each lesson reinforces foundational truths about God straight from the Bible, helping little hearts grow in faith through repetition and fun.

With Truths for Toddlers, children will continue to learn five big Bible truths:
•God is good.
•God is in charge of everything.
•God made everything.
•God wants us to pray.
•Jesus came to save sinners.

Preschool - Pre-K

Our Preschool and Pre-K children are taught using our own adaptation of the Wonder Ink Child Discipleship curriculum. We provide both teaching and care for our Preschool and Pre-K children during each hour of our Sunday morning worship services. If your child stays for two hours on Sunday morning, they will receive two different lessons on the same theme to help them better understand the Bible story.

Wonder Ink’s child discipleship plan explores the entire Bible and celebrates the wonder of God in each lesson through a 4-part journey of Curiosity, Belief, Faith, and Identity. The 3-year, 52-week scope and sequence makes room for the big (and sometimes hard) questions kids have, while leaving no doubt about who God is and who they are in Him.

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

FaithKids utilizes and adapts the curriculum The Gospel Project for its Sunday morning lessons. The Gospel Project is a chronological, Christ-centered study that continuously traces the singular story of God from Genesis to Revelation. In each lesson, kids will hear the Gospel message through a Bible study that is: Christ-centered, chronological, heart transforming, theologically rich, and missionally minded.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I get to FaithKids?

The most convenient parking option for families with young children is the south parking lot, near the Tower entrance.  Our FaithKids Welcome Desk is located in the corridor,  located across from the main entrance to our Worship Center.

How will I know if my children need me?

We will send a text message to your phone if you are needed.

Who will be with my child?

Anyone who teaches or serves in our Children’s Area must first have a background check and meet with a staff member to affirm their belief in Jesus Christ and to discern where they would be most suited to serve in FaithKids.  These volunteers are members of the church who serve and desire to teach God’s Word to our children. If you are a church member and would like to volunteer, please click on this link, so we can meet with you.

How do I check in my children?

Once you reach the FaithKids Welcome Desk, our trained volunteers and children’s ministry staff are ready to help you register your family. You will be issued nametags for each child with a family security number as well as a parent tag with the same auto-generated number for you to present to the leaders in your child’s room at pickup.  Infant-2nd grade are required to be picked up by a parent. 3rd-5th graders are released to meet up with their parents or can stay in the room while they wait on you to come.

We recommend you arrive early the first time, because it takes a few minutes to register your children and escort them to their classrooms. Parents receive a card with the rooms your child(ren) will be in when you come back to pick them up.

If you would like to make contact and register during the week before your visit, please contact our Children’s Director Connie Goodson.
