Faith Bible Church, Coronavirus Response

Saturday, March 14, 2020

Dear Church Family,

We will not be gathering for worship this Sunday, March 15, 2020.

This is a reversal of our earlier decision, but as we’ve continued to discuss, consult health professionals, and pray through these decisions, we feel the best thing we can do for our church body and our community is stay in our homes on Sunday.

Even though we will not be gathering for services this Sunday, Faith Bible will continue to stream the services online. This weekend Pastor Mark will be pressing pause on our current study of 2nd Peter and taking time to speak into what we are all feeling and experiencing in this unprecedented moment. As usual, our service will have singing, prayer, and preaching. It will just be delivered online.

The service will stream live at 9:30 AM on Sunday. You can watch the livestream on Facebook or through our church website,, or you can watch later in the day, as it will be archived on Facebook and Vimeo.

The situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) is very fluid with information coming in and changing almost every hour. We do not know what its actual impact on our community will be. We are choosing, however, to be more proactive than reactive in hopes that we can do our part to lessen the stress on our at-risk population and the healthcare system that services them.

We do encourage the entire Faith Bible Church congregation to be in continued prayer for our nation and our world. Additionally, please reach out to those at-risk friends and neighbors to make sure their physical and relational needs are being met.

As you know, the church is a people not a place. We don’t only exist when we gather but also when we can scatter. And even though we’ll be scattered for a longer period of time this week (and possibly the coming weeks), we know our light can shine brighter than ever.

The church office will operate normally next week (3/16-20). All programming for the week was already suspended due to Spring Break. We will continue to communicate in detail via email, our church website, and through social media about additional changes in upcoming services and programming.

Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel,

The FBC Staff and Elders
