Jason-FrittsJason Fritts –

Since the summer of 2000, the Fritts family has been attending Faith Bible Church for the second time! Thier prior attendance at FBC was 1992-1994 before relocating to Kansas City for business. In fact, Pastor Hitchcock married Jason and Kelli in May 1993. After finding a great church home in KC, where Jason and Kelli had wonderful spiritual growth, they relocated to Dallas, TX, for Jason’s career. Thier family was growing, and they struggled to find a church home where they could connect with other Believers and build relationships. They made the decision to move back “home” to Edmond, OK, and FBC.

Jason came to know Jesus Christ on May 16, 1982, when he was 11 years old. Through all of their ups and downs in life, Jason says his heart is continually being molded into the person God wants him to be and his intent is to be sensitive to His leading in his life and family.

Jason and Kelli have four children, Emily , Austin, Ian and Aiden whom all attend Oklahoma Christian School (three in high school, one in middle school).  They’re a normal family with football, basketball, soccer and friend relationships that keep their family calendar full & interesting.

Over the years, Jason has enjoyed being involved in internet/web development technologies and also getting to be involved with the FBC web site. He says Awanas, men’s small group Bible studies and Sunday school classes have been a very rewarding time of fellowship and spiritual growth.

Jason and Kelli are actively involved in teaching the FaithKids at FBC, and Kelli is heavily involved in VBS crafts, as well as previously involved with Awanas.  Jason says Kelli is an amazing wife who loves Christ and continues to encourage their family.

Currently, Jason has the privilege of working in a family business very closely with his dad and uncle.  They moved from web development a few years ago to land/property development and management in Moore, OK, where his grandparent’s farm has been a part of the Moore community since 1950.

Sid_JonesSid Jones –

Sid’s family was generally active in their small church in a small Oklahoma panhandle town, where he prayed to accept Jesus Christ as his savior at 7 or 8 years old. Routine small town life and family activities were the rule, and he was satisfied that he was doing the right thing as a Christian. But his family was broken before he finished high school, and the next few years were challenging.

Thankfully he met Rebekah at college, and they were married in 1987 at Metropolitan Baptist by Dr. Cotton. They moved to the Tulsa area, and grew spiritually with the help of family and the community at Tulsa Bible Church. In 1993 they moved to Edmond, and his sister Paula recommended Faith Bible, and they’ve been growing here ever since. They have four children – Ryan, Jenna, Noah, and Phillip, and one grandson, Winston.

The prayer that he prayed early on was the beginning of faith and a pathway to trust. New challenges are replacing old ones, and they continue to learn valuable lessons about grace and forgiveness, truth and love, thankfulness and contentment. Sid is more convinced than ever of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the value of Romans 12:1-2. He cares about the people at Faith Bible Church and is thankful for the role so many of you have played in they’re lives.

Monroe was born into a Christian farm family in rural Choctaw County in Southeast Oklahoma, the fourth of six children.  He accepted Christ at the age of ten. After graduating from Soper High School, Monroe met his wife, Joyce, in nearby Hugo where they were married fifty-eight years ago. They lived in a couple of large cities for two years but decided to return to Oklahoma so Monroe could attend junior college while Joyce worked full-time and he worked part-time.  Through divine help, he believes, Joyce was able to get a job at Oklahoma State University which made it possible for Monroe to attend OSU where he earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business. They lived and worked in Houston, Texas for ten years, Alabama for six years and have been in Edmond for thirty-six years, both of them now having been retired for several years. They have two children, five grand children and five great-grand children.

The Vaughans became more serious about their commitment to Christ when thye were in their thirties, diligently attending Bible studies and church worship services since that time.  Monroe also served as class outreach leader, deacon and church treasurer at churches they attended before they joined Faith Bible Church.  They have been at Faith Bible for sixteen years where Monroe has served as Church Secretary and Secretary to the Board of Elders from 2004 through the end of 2014.
