A Note from the Board of Elders

For over 35 years God in his kindness has empowered Faith Bible Church to faithfully make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ. This has been accomplished by unapologetically and systematically teaching God’s Word and applying its truth to life. A tenacious commitment to Scripture has always been at the heart of Faith Bible’s ministry.

We’ve recently begun to communicate that leading people to BELIEVE THE GOSPEL, GROW IN CHRIST, CONNECT WITH OTHERS and then SERVE  THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD are four things Faith Bible deeply cares about. We’ve called these our core values, and we use these values as both a grid and a guide for our ministry. These values are key to our vision going forward.

It takes intentionality to be more than an occasional gathering of highly individualized Christians. Our strong desire is to be a healthy body, a loving family, a well led flock. We want to do more than draw a crowd. We want to continue to build a church.

In the GREATER THINGS brochure, a VISION for the next four years at Faith Bible Church will be explained. But know as you read about square footage and construction costs, funding a building project is secondary to our real vision. Our real vision is to build Faith Bible Church as a people.

Hopefully this vision will capture your heart the way it has captured ours. As you look over what we’ve put in this booklet we admit that some of it seems daunting, but as a church family we are looking to a promise given by the Lord Jesus to his disciples:

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do,…

John 14:12

In light of this promise let’s celebrate the great things God has done at FBC. Let’s also pray and work toward the even GREATER THINGS that lie ahead. Our Lord goes before us. These GREATER THINGS are in His hands. Faith Bible is His Church and we trust the future to Him.

In Service to Christ and His People,

Your Board of Elders
